DeWEESE, Wilbert Edward, 63, of Copper Hill, passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2000. He was preceded in death by a son, Dale Lynwood DeWeese. Surviving are sons, Freddie "Bo" DeWeese and fiance, Annette Phillippi of Copper Hill, Darrell DeWeese of Vinton, David DeWeese and wife, Penny of Copper Hill; daughters and sons-in-law, Becky and Donald Beckner, Brenda and Max Jones of Copper Hill; extra special friends, Lucille DeWeese, Roger Hawks, Bill Callahan; eight grandchildren; one great-grandson; four sisters; and three brothers. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel, Floyd with Rev. Jimmy Kittinger officiating. Burial will be in Copper Hill Church of the Brethren Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Maberry Funeral Home.
