Deceased Name: STEVEN HIGHLEY
HIGHLEY STEVEN ROBERT HIGHLEY (Age 61) STEVEN ROBERT HIGHLEY, of Manassas, Virginia died Thursday, May 29, 2008 of cancer. He was born in Arlington VA, received his Masters degree from Virginia Tech, worked 30 years at the Naval Research Lab and was a founding member of the Masters Swim Team at George Mason University. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Karen Highley; one sister, Patricia Caudell and her husband Bob; two nieces, Lisa Deibler and Dawn Blevins; four great nieces and two great nephews. A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Friday May 30, 2008 at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center Street, Manassas 20110 with a reception to follow. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society on line or to Donor Services, P.O. Box 4072, Pittsfield, MA 01202 in memory of Steven Robert Highley. Condolences may be sent to www.piercefh.com .
