WOOD, Robert Lee, Sr., 74, of Copper Hill, died Friday night in a Roanoke nursing home. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Jenks. Surviving are his wife, Mary Beckner Wood, Copper Hill; two daughters and son-in-law,, Barbara and Monroe Willis, Copper Hill, Doris Reed, Grayson, Ga; son and daughter-in-law, Robert L. Jr., and Sharon Wood, Roanoke;16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Alice Farmer, Roanoke, Lois Lancaster, Boones Mill; brother, Douglas Wood, Copper Hill; sister-in-law, Minnie Becker, Pearisburg. Funeral will be Sunday, December 24, 1995, 4 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, Floyd, with the Rev. Dale Bowman officiating, interment in the Restvale Cemetery.
