Pyllis Lamoyne HARDY


Services for Phyllis Lamoyne Highley Hardy, 80, of Lubbock will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bob Highley officiating.

Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park under the direction of Resthaven Funeral Home.

Hardy died Saturday, Oct. 17, 1998.

She was born June 18, 1918, in Texas County, Okla. She married Edmon Lamar Hardy on June 6, 1947, in Lubbock. She worked for Southwestern Bell before becoming a homemaker.

She was a Presbyterian and member of the George S. Berry American Legion Auxiliary Unit 575 and Hub of the Plains Ex-POW. Auxiliary. She graduated from Lubbock High School and attended Texas Tech.

Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Anna Jane Hartman of Plano; one son, William E. "Bill" Hardy of Lubbock; and three grandchildren.
