FARMINGTON — Nancy Elizabeth Fraser Middleton of Farmington passed away on September 6, 2008 at Camelot Nursing Center at the age of 69 years. She was born November 18, 1938, at Bonne Terre, the daughter of the late John and Velma (Highley) Fraser. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Middleton, a son, James Townsend, four brothers, John A. Fraser, Edwin “Mike” Fraser, Earl Fraser and Dr. Andy Fraser, and two sisters, Candace Fraser and Carolyn Fraser.

Mrs. Middleton was a member of the United Methodist Church. On January 31, 1986, she was united in marriage to her late husband, Jesse M. Middleton. She was a registered nurse and for many years employed as an office nurse in a medical office.

She is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth “Lisa” (Townsend) Sage and son-in-law, Norman of Flowery Branch, GA, three grandchildren, Daniel, Cassandra and Christine Sage, brother and sister-in-law, Rev. T.J. and Virginia Fraser and sister, Noel Tapp and husband George. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.

The family will receive friends at Cozean Memorial Chapel from 5 to 9 p.m. on Friday, September 12, 2008. Visitation will resume at 7 a.m. on Saturday, with a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. with the Rev. Bruce Colella officiating. Burial will follow at Parkview Cemetery in Farmington.
