GREENVILLE -Mary Joan Spies, 67, Old Ripley, died Wednesday (Oct. 20, 1993).

Member: Greenville VFW Women’s Auxiliary. Survivors: sons, Philip G. and Randy, both of Old Ripley; daughter, Mrs. Richard (Dolly) Arterberry, Greenville; brother, Jean Emmanuel, Hutsonville; sisters, June Mullner, Jackie Corpin, Jeanett Williamson and Dorothy Haulley, all of Hillsboro; Mrs. Bill (Georgia) Coleman, Oconee; Mrs. Jack (Daisy) Walker, Decatur; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Preceded by: one brother.

Services: 1 p.m. Saturday, Schildknecht & Young Funeral Home, Greenville.

Visitation: after 4 p.m. Friday. Burial: Reno Bethel Cemetery.

Memorials: Comets Sports Boosters or Bond County Unit 2 Academic Foundation.
