Deceased Name: OBIT - WOODS, HAZEL NICHOLS
WOODS, Hazel Nichols, 75, of Roanoke and formerly of Bent Mountain, passed away Monday, October 16, 2000 in Roanoke. She was preceded in death by her husband, Irvin Thomas "Taz" Woods. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Betty Mae Woods-Myers and Harry Carl (H.C.) Myers of Roanoke, Va.; son and daughter-in-law, Robert Lee (Bobby), Sr. and Linda Gale Woods of Copper Hill, Va.; four grandchildren, Stacy Woods of Roanoke, Va., Robert (Robbie) Woods, Jr., Connie Woods, Cathy Woods, all of Copper Hill, Va.; one great-grandchild, Lacy Woods of Copper Hill, Va.; four sisters and one brother-in-law, Hettie N. Dunford of Montvale, Va., Ruby Irene N. Hancock of Stuart, Va., Peggy N. and A. B. Hoback of Salem, Va., Elsie N. Isom of North Carolina; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Maynard and Sadie Nichols of Salem, Va., Wilburn and Hazel Nichols of Montvale, Va., Howard and Lorraine Nichols of North Carolina; three sisters-in-law, Lavene Basham Nichols of Salem, Va., Audrey Craighead Woods of Vinton, Va., Frances J. Woods of Houston, Texas. Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at Gardner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Restvale Cemetery. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Wednesday at Gardner Funeral Home where the family will be Wednesday and Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. both evenings.
