Brenda Wood Jenks, 46, died Thursday as a result of an automobile accident. Surviving are three sons and two daughters-in-law, John D. Jenks, Jr of Copper Hill; Wesley and Bridgette Link, Salem; Joey and Laurerie Link of Roanoke; three daughters and two sons-in-law, June and Buddy Brunk of Montvale; Lillian Qandil, Roanoke; and Robin and Dwight Brown, Roanoke; nine grandchildren; her parents, Robert and Mary Wood, Copper Hill; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert Jr. and Sharon Wood, Roanoke; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Barbara and Monroe Willis, Copper Hill; Doris Reed of Grayson, Ga.; a special friend, Toby Hartman. Funeral service will be Monday 11:00 a.m. at Wood Funeral Home, Floyd, with the Rev. Douglas Jones and the Rev. Frank Wimmer officiating with interment in the Copper Hill Church of the Brethren Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday 3:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, Floyd.
