Betty Jean SHANAHAN

Deceased Name: Betty Jean Shanahan
Betty Jean Shanahan died Sept. 28, 2001, at age 67.

Mrs. Shanahan was born Betty Jean Coan on Dec. 28, 1933, in Marion, Ind. She moved about 1987 from San Jose, Calif., to Portland, where she was a housekeeper for the Cameo Motel for the past 13 years. In 1979, she married John Shanahan; he died in 1987.

Survivors include her brother, Richard Coan; sister, Barbara Sroufe; companion, Ernest F. Hurner; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild. Her son, Highley E. Coan, died about 1997.
