Beulah J. Stoskopf 1915 – 2005
HOISINGTON — Beulah J. Stoskopf, 89, died Feb. 16 at Great Bend
Health and Rehabilitation. She was born Sept. 26, 1915, in
Luray, the daughter of Philip D. and Cora Highley Colhour. She
married Roy L. Stoskopf on Oct. 10, 1932, at Otis. He died Dec.
27, 1970. A resident of the Hoisington area since 1932, moving
from Luray, she was a homemaker. Stoskopf was a member of the
First United Methodist Church and OES - Una Chapter 119, both of
Hoisington. Survivors include one son, L. R. Stoskopf of
Hoisington; two daughters, Marilyn Zimmerman of Great Bend and
Beverly Tauscher of Arkansas City; one brother, Bruce Colhour of
Russell; six grandchildren; 14 greatgrandchildren; and six
greatgreat- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one
brother, Ted Colhour; two sisters, Merla Bryant and Nola
O’Connor; and one grandson, Greg Zimmerman. Funeral will be at
10:30 a.m. Saturday at Nicholson- Ricke Funeral Home in
Hoisington, with the Rev. Wayne Flanders officiating. Visitation
will be from 9 a.m.to 9 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. until service
time Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to
Kans for Kids in care of the funeral home. Funeral arrangements
