Mavis SKIPWORTH VINCENT
 

GREENVILLE - Mavis S. Vincent, 76, of Greenville died there Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2001, at Belle Meade Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. The Muhlenberg County native retired as an office manager from Kentucky Utilities Co. after 29 years and was a member of Greenville First Baptist Church. She was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary 5478 and a Kentucky Colonel.

Survivors include her husband, Lee R. Vincent; a daughter, Julie Fleming of Bowling Green; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Joyce De Witt of Cummings, Ga., and Priscilla McDonald of Greenville; and a half sister, Gail Hallman of Hopkinsville.

Services are private. There is no visitation. Gary's Funeral Home in Greenville is in charge of arrangements.
