Deceased Name: Dixie BUCHANAN
Dixie Lee Buchanan, 62, of Middletown, died Thursday, February 28, 2008, at Atrium Medical Center. She was born in Middletown, on April 2, 1945 to parents Rector and Bethel (Highley) Lykins. Dixie was the owner of Hillbilly Heaven for over 10 years, retiring this past November. She had a heart of gold and was loved by many. Mrs. Buchanan is survived by her husband of 21 years, Willard "Buck" Buchanan; children, Charles and Tammy; grandchildren, Ashley and Andrew; two brothers, Donnie (Velma) Lykins and Millard (May) Lykins; as well as many other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Betty Jean Knapp; and brothers, Winston Lykins and Lafe "Tim" Lykins. Funeral Service will be held Monday, March 3, 2008 at 10:00 AM at WILSON-SCHRAMM-SPAULDING FUNERAL HOME, 3805 Roosevelt Blvd. (at Bonita Dr.) with Reverend Dr. Eric Newell officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, from 1:00 - 3:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Woodside Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family via our web page at WilsonSchrammSpaulding.com
